This apartment occupies an entire floor of the renowned Torre del Reloj building, one of the most historic buildings in Cartagena. It is located in the Plaza de Los Coches and has panoramic views of all the icons of Cartagena including the Castillo de San Felipe, the Popa, the Muelle de Pegaso, the Convention Center, Boca Grande and the Parque Centenario and Getsemaní.

This is the ideal place to feel Cartagena at its best, with all its craziness and originality. From the terrace that runs along the entire facade of the building, one feels the pulse of daily life in Cartagena de Indias. The whole world walks here, including presidents, street vendors, carriages with tourists, and student demonstrations.

The apartment is on one level with ceilings over 3 meters high, and has multiple living rooms and two very spacious bedrooms, each with air conditioning and en suite bathroom. The space has been carefully restored, preserving only the most authentic elements such as brick and some period arches. The other attributes of previous arrangements have been erased leaving an open and simple space, unpretentious, full of natural light. The décor is eclectic, mixing contemporary art with antiques and collectibles. It is a place where everyone can be together and also retreat and have privacy if desired.

The entrance welcomes you with a large open kitchen and a dining room with its imposing crystal chandelier. It would be perfect for large meals and cocktails, events and even cooking classes. The living room is a set of several integrated spaces, all with large windows facing the square and the Clock Tower. Because of its numerous windows front and back, a gentle breeze always wafts through the place. A great pastime here is to sit on the balcony and watch the daily action below in the plaza and the changing light of Cartagena de Indias.

For larger groups up to 8 additional people can be accommodated in the two studio apartments on the fourth floor (401 and 402). Each apartment has air conditioning, bay view, kitchen, bathroom, living room and TV. There is no hot water.

The building has no elevator but has concierge service Monday through Friday from 8 am - 6 pm and Saturdays until 2 pm.
